This site exists to document an open-source project. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. The short version: we do not want your data and we do not collect it.

What this site does not do

• No user accounts, logins or profiles.
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or visitor-tracking scripts.
• No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own.
• No newsletter, no contact form, no email collection.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with anyone, for any purpose.

What is unavoidably processed

Server logs

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may record standard technical request data: IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer and browser user agent. This is used to operate the service and to diagnose faults and abuse, and it is not used to build profiles or combined with anything else.

Blockchain data shown on this site

Block heights, rewards and timings displayed here come from a public Krypton node through an endpoint on this same domain. Those requests concern the blockchain, not you: no wallet, address or personal information is sent.

Third-party services this site contacts

A few features load data from external providers. When your browser contacts them, they necessarily see your IP address and browser information, and their own privacy policies apply.

• GitHub — the download section reads the list of published releases, and the files themselves are downloaded from GitHub.
• CoinPaprika — the exchanges page loads the market price.
• Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google's font service.

Following a link to an exchange, an explorer, Discord or X takes you onto a service the project does not run. This policy stops at the edge of this site.

The wallet software is separate

The Krypton wallet is a program you download and run on your own computer. It is not part of this website and sends nothing to it. It connects directly to the peer-to-peer network to synchronise the blockchain, and your keys stay on your machine — nobody, including the project, can read them or recover them for you.

Note that the blockchain itself is public and permanent by design. Transactions and addresses are visible to anyone, forever. That is a property of the technology, not a choice this site makes on your behalf.

Your rights

Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection regarding personal data held about you. Since this site keeps no user records, in practice that concerns only the technical server logs described above. To exercise a right, use the contact route on the legal notice page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be announced through the project's usual channels.
